As far as I'm concerned, Winnipeg is the best place in Canada to buy outdoor gear (cheap Canada Goose jackets!) and finished leather / fur products (mukluks / mitts / hats). This is where all the fur goes, I think. This is also where all those northern-town mail order products and catalogs (Outdoor Outfitters / Watkins) are based.
